Meri Mehveen teri thori inayat hum pe bhi ho, muddaton se bus yahi iltaza ya youn koho...,  ibadat si ki hai teri masrufiyaton se khub humne shikayatein si ki hai kavayatein thi yahi ki tum mehtab banno hamari, gustakh dil ne har dafa bus itni hi chahat si ki hai gile-shikwe bhale hue-ho hazar, par teri bus ek didar pe humne qurban youn apni ye jaan si ki hai, yaadon me bhi to tere hi salamati ki dua aaj bhi ki hai,  khwabo-khayalo ki baatein aaj tumse maine, do-char si ki hai, yaar..., tum mano-ya-na-mano, par tumpe hi to nisar humne apni ye zahanat, ye alfaaz si ki hai.
